About this talk

In the looming shadows of the White House’s Federal Data Strategy (and specifically the targeted pressures of the 2021 Action Plan), IT organizations within agencies are now being tasked to transition to operational conventions founded on the concepts of deploying consistent data infrastructures. However, current systems of record are often decades-old, each with its own supporting personnel, technologies, and data stewardship logic. Further, many agencies have already spent significant dollars on “big-bang” modernization efforts with the aim to facilitate a consistent data underpinnings…often with very little to show for it. In this talk, Mr. Graham will explore an alternative to modernization that will accelerate the transition of Federal IT systems toward proactive evidence-based decisions based on consistent data infrastructures’.
